My name is Mike Brown. In 2011, I received my Master’s of Science in Information Science (MSIS) program at UNC-Chapel Hill’s School of Information and Library Science (SILS). I work full-time as a technical writer in Research Triangle Park, NC, and am currently contracting for a government agency.
This blog began as a simple way for me to process information from my school experiences: the readings, issues, tips and tricks, and any other ephemera that whistled past me. Although my official schooling is behind me, I still continue to learn and observe. This blog is now my public notebook for recording anything that interests me.
